It is with regret that we announce that Tristan has parted ways with Widow’s Walk. We would like to thank Trist for everything he put into the band over the past few years, and wish him the best of luck with his future projects.
So now the search is on for a new guitarist! We’re looking for a guitar player who’s into prog as much as we are, has the confidence and skill to step up and rock when it comes to solos and keyboard/guitar unisons, has good gear and knows how to use it, and who is eager to become an equal part of the songwriting process.

Thanks to everyone who came out to see us at Mavericks last Friday, we had a packed house and overall it was a great night. Jerk Factory and Crimson Sunset both put on awesome shows. You can check out new pictures from the show in our Media section.
For those of you who couldn’t make it to the show, it’s time to formally announce that Widow’s Walk has finally found their singer! We’re very happy to welcome Scott Bailey into the group. Scott came aboard only a few weeks ago, but despite the short notice he joined us on stage for one song on Friday night. His performance on Queensrÿche’s “The Mission” brought the house down and is only a taste of what’s to come! We’ve already started work on incorporating Scott into our original material, so stay tuned for more! You can check out Scott’s bio in the Band section.</p>
We have a new full length video from Progtoberfest that is just awaiting a final audio mix, we should have it online shortly. We are also set to enter the studio before Christmas to start working on the next batch of recordings, so keep checking back for new media!
(P.S.: Some of you might have noticed a rather odd-looking bicycle at Mavericks the other night — it belonged to our friend Richard, who has taken most of the awesome photos you’ll find here on our site. You can see more of his “Tallbike” as well as other bizarre contraptions on his website.)

Thanks to everybody who came out to Progtoberfest II and helped to make it a great success, we had a blast. The crowd was almost twice as big as the first PTF, can’t wait to see what next year has in store! Special thanks to Casse-Tete and Nathan Mahl who both put on great shows, and to Gary Lauzon for all his hard work making Progtoberfest a reality. For a nice review of the show, and to see our setlist, check out ProgMontreal.com.
Head on over to the Media section to see some new photos from the Progtoberfest show… we also recorded both audio and video from the show and hope to have some new video clips online very soon.
In other WW news, we’re looking into playing on CKCU’s Ottawa Live Music show sometime very soon… and of course we are also playing with Crimson Sunset on November 10 at Mavericks!
